Plasma nitriding is a high-precision surface strengthening technology for metal components. The produced nitrided layer boasts 2–4 times the hardness of the substrate and forms dense, corrosion-resistant ceramic phases with excellent thermal stability. This process creates nearly no dimensional deviation and fully retains component dimensional precision, ideal for high-precision parts. It comprehensively enhances the substrate’s resistance to wear, erosion, fatigue, high temperature, and strong acid-alkali corrosion. The technology effectively extends the service life of core components by multiple times and greatly improves the long-term operational reliability of industrial equipment systems.
Our self-developed high-power plasma nitriding furnaces with high-voltage pulse power and built-in heating deliver optimized glow discharge and temperature regulation. We have created numerous specialized processes and tooling for difficult-to-nitride alloys including nickel-based superalloys and titanium alloys, enabling excellent surface nitriding performance. With in-house equipment and processes, we maintain full process control for consistent high quality.
